Dr. Acuña brings over [X] years of experience and an unwavering dedication to excellence. A graduate of the Temple University School of Dentistry, he completed a rigorous General Practice Residency at Staten Island University Hospital, equipping him to handle complex dental cases with confidence and care. He also holds a Bachelor of Arts from the State University of New York at Albany.
Certified in Light Force Orthodontics, Oral Sedation, and a proud Invisalign® provider, Dr. Acuña continues to stay on the cutting edge of dental innovation through ongoing training and education.
As a bilingual dentist fluent in both English and Spanish, Dr. Acuña ensures that every patient feels understood, respected, and fully informed throughout their care—because communication is key to great outcomes.

Dr. Carlonie Basta, DDS
Dr. Carlonie Basta is a compassionate and dedicated general dentist committed to providing exceptional care to every patient she serves. She earned her Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) degree from the University of Nevada, Las Vegas (UNLV) School of Dental Medicine in 2019. Since then, she has focused on building meaningful relationships with her patients, taking the time to carefully listen to their concerns and ensure they feel comfortable and understood throughout their dental experience.
Inspired by her father, a physician known for his compassionate approach to patient care, Dr. Basta developed a deep appreciation for the impact healthcare professionals can have on people’s lives. This influence continues to shape her philosophy of treating each patient with empathy, respect, and personalized attention.
Dr. Basta is passionate about dentistry and is dedicated to providing the highest quality treatment. She remains eager to expand her knowledge and stays current with the latest advancements in dental techniques and technology. By utilizing state-of-the-art equipment in her practice, she ensures that patients receive efficient, comfortable, and effective care. Known for her gentle touch, Dr. Basta strives to reduce dental anxiety and create a positive experience for patients of all ages.
Outside the office, Dr. Basta enjoys spending time with her two children, ages 10 and 4. She loves traveling, relaxing at the beach, and embracing new adventures. In her spare time, she also enjoys playing the keyboard, which reflects her creative and well-rounded personality.
